CS371p Spring 2021 Week 12: Albert C. Trevino
What did you do this past week?
This past week I had to move which was hectic but I’m glad that I got that done. I also was able to complete the Darwin project with my partner who I’m super grateful for keeping up with me and my hectic schedule this week.
What’s in your way?
I’ve been feeling really good, so I feel like time is in my way. I have a ton of projects coming up and I need to manage my time correctly these next few weeks so I can finish the semester strong.
What will you do next week?
This next week I will finish one of my projects for another class as well as study for an upcoming exam in another class. These should happen earlier in the week and I’m looking forward to have another relaxing weekend.
If you read it, what did you think of the More getters and setters?
This weeks reading was interesting because it really connected last weeks paper and some concepts that were used in the Darwin project. It’s really useful and creates more context in creating good, efficient code.
What was your experience of sequence containers, container adapters, and associative containers?
I was a bit confused this week because I was unable to attend Monday’s class, but after reviewing the material, some concepts from 314 started coming back to me.
What made you happy this week?
The Overwatch League started again this week and that was really cool to watch and gave me something to look forward too again.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My pick-of-the-week is to check out this guy Ben Awad on TikTok. He makes really funny CS videos and it’s cool to understand what he’s talking about. https://www.tiktok.com/@benawad/video/6952143885602671878?lang=en&is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1
